(Throwing down a gauntlet) I'll put up my Huckleberry (Basset) to your GSD any day, any intelligence test. I'm not saying he'll win, in fact I'd even bet against him but we'll all have fun watching his response.

I am a professional dog groomer and boarding kennel operater 30 years + expierience and I have found that GSDs are really stupid and hard to work with. I ponder the question every day how they got the reputation of being as smart as some people say

The series was called Stoney Burke and aired in the 60's if I remember correctly.
Jack Lord also played in the Stoney Burke movie in 1962.

If memory serves me correctly he (starred) appeared in a television show about rodeos. Can anyone say I am right, or even have an idea what I might be remembering?

Without a doubt, 1966 Carol Shelby G.T 350 or 1959 MGA. I came across the MGA around the same time the Beatles's "Rubber Soul" Album came out. What a life:)

Connecticut to Plymouth Mass- need overnight stop/best route
Planning an overnight trip, maybe a weekend trip (30' Gulfstream Class C) from Connecticut to Plymouth Plantation (P/P) in Plymouth Mass. some time mid/late September.
Would like to leave at night, and stop somewhere in Mass for the night:h continuing on Saturday morning.
Has anyone been to P/P? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. I thank you for any comments.

Keys to the RV that was parked at the campsite two hours away and we were one mile away from the campsite when I remembered. THANK GOD for my sister who drove the keys to me!!!!!!!
